Hello and look at me
I've got a hat on my head
dreamy restless whispers in the hat
I'll take it off
throw it away-high up- to you

hello and look at me
I've got a long long long hair
the wind needs a toy to play with
prevents the birds from finding a nest

hello and listen
my dress is singing
it whispers what no one should hear
a handful of words will I throw away
into your embrace

hello and look at me
my shoes are dancing
spinning like mad round and round
Here-I am taking them off
to make them sound your footsteps
they might learn how much I love you

hello and listen
right from my throat
spinning on my lips
a new song I breathe out
for you
