It's been a while
Since I last saw you
Since you said goodbye
Since you said we're through.

Life without you
Was indeed full of pain
You never made me understand
You never bothered to explain.

I learned
Since we've been apart
That pain can change a heart
So I did think each day
Of hurtful words I need to say
In case our paths should cross again someday.

And now
That time has come
Face to face we stood
But
I was astound
No hurting words uttered
No ounce of pain mattered
And
As I gazed at those eyes that glow
All I could say
Was just
Hello.
