Hell Is Dumb And Sore Throats Are Stupid. Poem by Jena Crowe

Hell Is Dumb And Sore Throats Are Stupid.

Hi poets.
it's time I graced you with my dark purple presence,
peasants and the poor alike...

did you gargle hydrogen peroxide today
like great great grandma
taught your mama?

read a Psalm and sing along
to Aunt Matilda's high pitched, piano playing
floral dress wearing, rayon song?

at least tell me
you got a free donut
from the table in the back
with the sign that says 'donations welcome'
did you welcome them with a laugh?

uh-oh
my coffee table is freaking out.

Good-bye poets.
it's time I fed my dead membrane
and burned my hand
picking up King James.

You had a busy morning. Nice poem! Can you help me get this ham off of me?
