Earth is burning
Still keeps on turning
Sky is falling
Sun is rising

Heat is growing
Unbearable burden
I am sweltering
And no one sees it

I’m bursting into flames
Ashes fly about like dust
Smoke hinders me from seeing
My senses: out of action

Heat’s still growing
Unbearable burden
I’m sweltering
And no one sees it

I gotta function
Becoming a machine
I’m burning
And no one sees it

You’re gone
You left a void
Inside of me
You were a rose
- it’s withered
You were my breath
- I suffocate
You were my life
- you’re dead

Heat’s devouring
