Hell Poem by ROGEL FRANCIS SORIOSO

Hell

Hell is not a place of eternal damnation
But rather a place of absolution and purification
There is no such thing as purgatory
In this world nothing is ordinary
We pay for our actions being a sinner
Everything we lose is being gained by the winner
You betrayed your wife when you slept with a beautiful lady
You kill people when your life becomes dark and shady
You stole millions from your pork barrel
To finance your lifestyle and your apparel
You run your country by greed and corruption
You achieve those things by lies and deception
You fooled hundreds just to rise above
By denying yourself of compassion and love
Death is just the beginning of a new chapter
The judgment of our soul when you're gone long after
Only to suffer for a moment to gain redemption
To acquire the rewards of forgiveness and vindication
Hell would no longer be a place of suffering and torture
But a cradle to pay our mistakes through God's nurture
