Catapulted irrepressibly
into expressions of random
thoughts where aimable I,
definable shall sift novaed
stardust in my mouth
to determine its once-
apparent magnitude;
analyse disastrous deposits
on the tongue in order
to earn a high-level degree
of mundane worth
in deep spatial quadrants.
Hungry heights quarry me
from this earthly depression
like a zygote of an eye plucked
from its socket, suspended
& dilated on the night sky's
unblinking vantage point.
