Hedwig Poem by Ima Ryma

Hedwig

Hedwig, the snowy owl, became
A Harry Potter feathered friend.
Harry gave her this awesome name,
That magic lore did recommend.
For Harry, Hedwig did in flight,
Carry messaging for the good,
Throughout the realms of day and night,
Being all that a true friend should.
The Death Eaters did air attack.
She proved in loyalty her worth,
Sacrificing at Harry's back,
Hedwig did depart from this Earth.

Hedwig, his feathered friend, was gone.
Harry missed her, but carried on.
