Heaviest Heart Poem by JoAnn McGrath

Heaviest Heart

Heaviest Heart

Dense the thicket of my heart

Slowly entwined till respire caught

Dull the mind as life departs

So many wicked weighted thoughts

Burdens saddle the frailest part

That harbors oppressive feelings wrought

I the holder of the heaviest heart
