Heaven’s Revealing Poem by Michael P. Johnson

Heaven’s Revealing

Countless are those failing life’s zest
With doubtful eyes unseeing
Digging, diving delving in quest
For origin of being

Grovelling, lost in bygone gloom
Examining the books of man
Like Darwin’s erroneous tome
How life on earth began

Did we emerge from oozing slime?
Was Darwin wrong or right?
Could it be God, or bang in time
Through which man first saw light

While souls lost, are lives investing
Knowledge eludes the wise
Christ’s few win through Heaven’s testing
Disbelieving man’s lies

As a fool believes fools fiction
Liars the truth deny
The addict yearns in addiction
Wisdom alone knows why

Let wisdom reign, true knowledge rule
Let Heaven be life’s guide
Walk in the light not with a fool
Bid Jesus Christ inside

For this He lived, suffered and died
As King to rise and reign
For sinners Christ was crucified
That we may live again

The bible shows crystal clear
Reveals life’s facts first hand
Soon all but truth will disappear
As God has always planned…..
