Heaven Poem by Jazzie Sweigart

Heaven

Rating: 4.8

I read of a heav'n
Of how it is true,
The Lord has a home
Just waiting for you!

Of twelve precious stones
The walls they are made
With sapphire so blue,
And topaz inlaid.

The gates are a pearl
That's white as the snow.
My home is in heav'n
The Lord's there I know!

The streets are pure gold
They shine with a light
That comes from the Lord,
So there's never night.

Dear friend, hear his call.
Why don't you prepare
While you still have time,
To meet me up there?
