I have been one acquainted with the night,
That is when I want to take you baby and hold you tight.
Remembering the wonderful times we have spent together,
Our hearts so full of love and our spirits light as a feather.

I have been one acquainted with the night,
That my love, is when our hearts take flight.,
Holding each other in love's blissful embrace,
Our spirits rising, and our hearts start to race.

Every kiss you lay on me is so ever sublime,
Always deliciously fresh, like the very first time.
The softness of your skin, flames my passion and desire,
My soul ever so burns, like I'm ravaged in fire.

We lay together in unity looking into each other's eyes,
No need for words, our actions of love, so satisfies.
Holding each other and peacefully closing our eyes.
Feeling loved, and content, all through 'till sunrise.

You're my first thought in the morning, and my very last each night.
Dreaming of being together with one another and never losing sight.
Yes, I have been one acquainted with the night,
