Heartfelt Poem by Chet Urban

Heartfelt

Rating: 5.0

As I lay here on your side of the bed, I wonder where you rest your head.
At night?
I toss and turn. I yearn for your return.
Will you return?
I have my doubts. Too many mental bouts.
October will mark 8 year. It's that month we would share haunted fear.
Together this year?
My hopes and dreams whisked away in tear.

A beautiful poem written from the heart with a catchy title. You captured your loneliness very well. Lovely. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
