Heartbreaker Poem by G J Salgado

Heartbreaker

He's the one that buys expensive jewels,
When he plays he always breaks the rules,
Makes everyone feel like they are fools.

He presents himself with intelligence,
Which is often mistaken for artificial romance,
Convinces those that are blind to his arrogance.

He is carefully selective which ones he chooses,
By orchestrating a symphony of impure muses,
Telling lies to the broken hearts that he confuses.
