Heartbreaker Poem by Brian Jefferson

Heartbreaker

Rating: 4.5

I remember the day I gave you my heart
I knew I would from the start
I thought we would never drift apart
To my dismay I was wrong
It seems that my love for you was too strong
Thats why our relationship didn't last long
Yet I remain in state of confusion
Because your feelings for me were just an allusion
And in this game of love I keep losing
In which direction should I turn for guidance
Or should I combat my disappointment with defiance
Because you used me like an appliance
Now I have come to a decision
We are going to switch positions
So that you can feel my condition
My condition is a broken heart
Something unknown from the start
Because we have drifted apart
