Heartbreak Poem by David Beckham

Heartbreak

Rating: 5.0

Yesterday the love:

My heart rises, your heart falls
Your heart falls, my heart rises
My heart fed you, your love filled me
Your heart fed me, my love filled you...

Today the shock, the betrayal:

I feel my pulse race through my fingers
They are beating so quick I can't count the numbers
Time has seized, it has no presence
Age is absent, my time is done

The world is silent and quiet as a grave
My face is flush, am dazed like a maze
Everything in a circle, round and round it goes
All I had I gave. You are a snake, you need to go

My mind is glued shut, you have poisoned my heart
Nothing is perceived, nothing is received
A veil, wraps around my wandering thought
Love has a pulse and I feel it going away...

Tomorrow the romance:

Goodbye, depart, be gone like the wind
Not a space in my heart for a person like you
My heart you shared, but my love you stole
I believe in love even if its not with you...

Remember that love does not hurt. Pain does. Although the beginning clouds the reader in darkness, There is a small light at the end. All you need is a small light....
