Heartache Poem by Pam Fraser

Heartache

Rating: 4.8

I wish I could give you all the solutions
with all life's problems, with the doubts, and the fears.
I came to make a conclusion and promise you that I will listen,
and gather all that’s what needed.

I would search high and low
for all the right answers to give you.
Even, if some might be wrong,
but it would make both of us strong.

I might never get the chance to change
your past with all it's heartache and pain,
nor, I can’t predict the future with its untold stories.

I will still promise from here and now.
When you need me to care for you as
your mom or as a friend,
and whatever you need

I know I can't keep your feet from the stumbling,
and when things seem jumbling.
I can only offer my hand, and help you stand tall.
I will try to grasp you so you wont fall.

I want to see more of your joys,
your triumphs, and see your successes,
mostly I want to see your happiness
and to share some of your laughter.

Someday, you will have your own decisions in life
I will not able to make, nor to judge;
I can only support you, encourage you,
and help you when you ask.
from your values, from me.
I can only pray for you,
and for that day

I can't give you boundaries
which I have determined for you,
But I can give you the room to change, room to grow,
room to be yourself.

I can't keep your heart from breaking and hurting,
But I can cry with you and help you pick up the pieces
and put them back into their proper
place.

I can't tell you who you are.
I can only love you and be the best mother
I know how to be and can be for there for you
When you need me with all the heartache
