Heart Touching Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

It is heart touching
Self pity and lots of teaching
Anybody may leave the scene
As no such hardship is eve seen

The heart is like chicken
Wants to become lion hearted even
But trouble and hardship always elude
Puzzle to escape and uncertainty to include

The individuals fight in street
Never think of love and greet
God only knows what makes them to shed blood
When we have not enough to eat as food

I am subjected to repeated insults
I struggle hard with no results
Still I trust almighty with no complaints
Look towards sky but never fall down or faint

I wish to cry with honest appeal
Make me stubborn to face in real
Give me courage to withstand
Offer love and affection to all as friend

Give me enough of boldness
Courage and stubbornness to face
Life can be only simple race
Who has the time to make it as base?

Selfishness and deception is hidden element
We shall not indulge in it and comment
Every human being is gifted with such desire
We need to pray only Him and admire

If you adopt it in heart and cry
You can be called fool and attempting to fly
No one can help you in this deceptive world
You got to stand on your own feet and look bold

I am no saint or sage
But I have read it on many pages
God helps to only those
Who create path and choose

Nights may prove unbearable and long
Even if you may not be wrong
Still you are human being and must remain among
Even in wilderness and pain you must pray and sing a song
