Heart Shadow Poem by Dazairie Rone

Heart Shadow

Floor moved to normal eyes
Laughed in the morning
Came out at night
Put on shoes and took a walk
To your nearest home,
To your nearest park.

He sat in the shadows to watch you play
He hunted your children every day
They wonder who it is,
It's a shadow of the arts.

Smirking at your misfortunes
Stealing money out of purses.

Vegetation collapse and trees decay
In his mist they go away
The fearless fear him so,
Hair white like forgotten clouds
Jet or plane
Or even car.

You can't get away from him
He is your heart.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Everyone does not have a evil inside, I can't prove that. But most if not all can attempt a simple crime or harm those around others, beast or human, without a color it spreads. Anyone can run, can everyone or everything run away from evil itself? This poem leaves that question lingering. Gives the reader a chance to remind them path of good and bad.
