Heart's Love Garden Poem by Paul Sebastian

Heart's Love Garden

Rating: 5.0

Let me walk you through my heart's garden
Where you breathe the fragrance
Flowers wear; resplendent dresses they adorn
Welcoming you in their presence!

Jasmine flowers shed their petals at your feet
As if to honor you as a living goddess
Crossing your path, lilies stretch to touch-greet
As if to affirm your godly loveliness

Roses, red and white, dress the garden of love
Like a bridal bed on a honeymoon night
Blanketed with rose petals of purity and love
A glimpse of love's blissful glory: a standing invite

Sprawled, gracing your path, bright yellow zinnias
Eight-petal faces that confess: I love you
Swaying in the wind, dancing the joy of love, always
Making each day beginning, bright and new

Garden-centred, the round -faced smiling sunflowers
Constant reminder that love is unconditional
That happiness is a daily choice, made by lovers
Standing firm and tall, loving always, never occasional

Walk with me through my heart's love garden
Let our hearts be filled with love's fragrance
Let's grow love-flowers in our hearts' garden
Treasure love shared; Celebrate God's presence

Sprawled, gracing your path, bright yellow zinnias Eight-petal faces that confess: I love you Swaying in the wind, dancing the joy of love, always Making each day beginning, bright and new A very sweet love poem built on the imagery of a garden! You seem to have a good knowledge of all the flowers! All the stanzas are equally good!
