Heartfelt thanks

Lovely poem indeed
Right thing you did
But I fail to understand
Why do you cry at the end?

You must feel elated
For the life being granted
It is time to rejoice
And live with promises

Yes, thank almighty
For safe journey
And express gratitude
That should be the attitude

Always bow down
And make it known
That you are really indebted
And in prayers celebrated

What a way to live?
And believe
For this wonderful land
With enchanting prayers at each end

Of course tears rush
And push
Your feelings
With heartfelt thanks
