Heart Break Poem by Gwendolyn Anderson

Heart Break

Wasted talent
How can it be,
you've prayed and prayed
He gave you a gift and He blessed it
so it may flourish one day

In your pleas, you could not see
the path which was laid
you took no time to appreciate
all His amazing grace
you had no patience,
no more faith
Then hope slipped away
you thought you would just
End it all
When you put yourself
to sleep

You took no time to stop and pray
what an awful fatal mistake
Why not ask forgiveness
and much better days

You could've seen your every dream come true
His promises are truth
giving up to soon,
what an awful

Heart Break
