Heart Attacks Poem by Gordon D Wilkinson

Heart Attacks

Rating: 5.0

Save me from this infernal pain
Bloody clots running in the vein
Warfarin an anticoagulant thins out the blood
Circulating easier its understood
Not taking care put me here
High cholesterol the major fear
Flat out on my back
Closer to heart attack
Fast foods fried brought this downfall
Deep fried chicken wings and eggs tells it all
Raising my fat content
Metabolism twisted and bent
Medication doses
Preventing thrombosis
But for good old national health
You do not need to have great wealth
Nurses and doctors do their very best
I am receiving every conceivable test
In the end it comes down to this
Change the diet, give fat a miss
