Heart Attack Poem by Amelia Hammond

Heart Attack

That pain that over fills this lungs
The chest that beats no longer
Just remembering the wings that made me fly
Visitors come and knock at these doors
Doors that are locked forever
Wings torn apart and bleeding
Knowing he is gone
Chocking on the words he said
Stabbing a dry kiss he left behind
These lies that hunt my living soul
Knowing he is watching
Seeing if I continue to walk
To breath, to live
He who know I love him
Killing me so he can be with another
Yet always coming back for more
Hurting me and saving me
Asking to be with him
Leaving like a wave
Never coming back the same
Hurting me with pain
Overwhelming me with hope
Hopes that crush and break
This heart how can it take so much?
Will it ever stop from all this bull?
Why does he come back?
Why do I let my heart break?
Is this a heart attack?
