Hearing The Truth Poem by Justin Reamer

Hearing The Truth

The truth can be harsh,
I know,
But you must understand why I tell you,
Because she does not care about you,
And all she will do is hurt you,
And you must know that she tricks,
Plays games,
Plays with all men's hearts,
As Estella does with Pip
In Charles Dickens' masterpiece
Great Expectations,
For she is beautiful,
But she will use you,
And hurt you no matter what you think,
So stay away, I warn you,
For she will hurt you in the end.
