He's On Fire Poem by mark anthony st. rose

He's On Fire

Day by day I could feel myself grow more intense like the Sun,
A luminosity that illumines within soul,
and my thoughts are made whole
like pointed rays,
burning issues with new radiance.
And now I dance the sundance around a pyre,
like a Cherokee Indian on fire,
calling down the heavens
with a signal of smoke,
releasing the burdens of this world-my yoke.
