He Paid The Price Poem by Richard Ikolo

He Paid The Price

Rating: 0.5

He left His throne in glory
I'm glad to be a product of His story
He came for man's redemption
He lived to fulfil His mission

Everywhere on earth He reached
The message of salvation He preached
Many believed and repented
Some rejected and regretted

He paid the price for my sin
All because of me He was slain
He conquered death on the cross
To take away in me the the dross

He's now in heaven to come back shortly
He expects us to preach to others quickly
While we wait, keep your garment spotless
He's coming back for the sinless

Very soon he would appear
Be ready and prepare
While the righteous will be with Him in heaven
The sinners will be in hell in their oven.
