He Goat Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

He Goat

He goat

You never have smelled a he goat
(Fed barley as stud)
It stands with head up and proud
Urinates on his side
Then smells and lifts head toward sun
Lifts his lip round for kiss
He, royal: "This harem is all mine! "

How can we exchange words?
How can we have a talk?

Have you seen a rooster?
(In the field, many hens)
He defends his pride
By fighting, his blood:
"This harem is all mine! "

This is how men were too
They stood for duel
Losing was also gain.

To them you, are a shame
To you they, brainless.

Have you lived in village?
(Transport only beasts
Horse, mule and donkeys.)

How can we exchange words?
How can we have a talk?

In cities I am the
Waterless fish in sun…

How can we exchange words?
How can we have a talk?

You are you
I am I…
