Haying Time Poem by Marilyn Lott

Haying Time

Rating: 5.0

Hay rolled into tight round bales
Would weigh a lot upon the scales

Tucked away for a winter feast
Perfect for a barnyard beast.

Your smaller poems, apart from being entertaining, provide ample proof of your minute observation on day to day happenings. I am a great admirer of your poetry which inspires younger poets quite a lot. Thanks.

Thank you so much for your kind comment. It made me smile. I wrote poems daily for a man's web page for 11 years. I wrote a variety of poems but one of them was a 4 line poem. This was one of them. I decided to post them on Poem Hunter and see how well the did. So nice to know they are doing quite well. Thank you!
