Hawaii Dreamin' Poem by George Hunter

Hawaii Dreamin'

Rating: 5.0

If I had a million dollars, or so
I’ll tell you where I’d like to go.
I’d sail on out to Hawaii, the state
I bet living there would sure be great.

Just swingin’ in my hammock all day long
And now and then hittin’ on the bong.
On my steel guitar I’d play a tune
Hoping my love would be home soon.

I’d get me a luscious Hawaiian wahini
Who’d parade around in her string bikini
Or sometime when she’d want to flirt
Wear nothing else but a short grass skirt.

She’d cook delicious fish and poi
And lovin’ her would be my joy.
When the surf came up I’d get real brave
And attempt to ride the biggest wave.

I’d come home beat at the end of day
And be greeted with a welcome lei.
She’d mix up a pitcher of Hawaiian rum punch
We’d have some kisses and forget the lunch.

That would be the life for me
On that rapturous island in the sea
A Big Kahuna there I’d be
Gotta get me that million, yes-sir-ee!
