Haven
A Haven I thought
I had finally found.
A Haven I yearned for
with unshakeable ground.
I thought that I would
arrive to an embrace,
to arms outstretched,
to worries effaced.
The Haven I'd hoped for
is not what I've found.
The Haven I counted on
is nowhere around.
