Have you ever stopped and wondered why,
you love to gaze at a starlit sky?
Have you ever sat and watched an ocean blue,
why is this sight and sound blissful to you?

Have you ever felt soft rain on your face,
or pondered the deep and infinite space?
Has the gentle breeze caressed your skin?
In stillness, the answer comes from within.

Have you ever stopped and looked at a flower?
so simple, so beautiful, a truly majestic power.
Have you ever felt the warmth of the sun,
and questioned, are we many or one?

Have you ever stared at an open log fire,
been loved and loved back with all hearts desire?
There's a golden thread that links us all,
from beginning of time to the final call.

Is the beauty you see, really so rare?
Stop and connect, for it is everywhere.
you are, the beauty that you see,
we are all one, both you and me.
