Have You? Poem by Leslie Alexis

Have You?

Rating: 4.0

Have you gazed the vastness of the sky,
With planets and stars that awe… by and by?
Have you thought this urn is the span of heaven
Where God lives; and a chance to dwell, he's given us?

Have you compared its vastness to the Earth’s,
Or compared the gold and loveliness to our crumpling dirt?
Then did you stop to think which you are living for:
Earths' withering beauty, or Heaven’s endless splendor?

In Heaven the mansions can be as big as the earth.
Have you earnestly asked: what is life’s real worth?
Do you choose petty pleasures, and neglect the King?
Have you realized that to do this is a foolish thing?

Have you ever really pondered on Heaven’s glory?
Are you appreciative of God’s making for you and me?
Are you preparing for your home that's light-years away?
Will you be are taken there on second coming day?

Are you going to make heaven your choice?
Or are you going to neglect the echo of Christ’s voice?
His love is sweeter than the tunes Heaven's Choirs sing.
Are you going to accept or neglect His loving calling?

A timely reminder to everyone to make a choice now as to whether to listen to the word of God or not....

Are you going to make heaven your imperative choice? Or are you going to neglect the echo of Christ’s voice? His love is sweeter than the tunes Heaven's Choirs sing; Now, are you going to accept or neglect His loving calling? loved heaven and god's love..shines all through whether it be day or nite....lovely and serene write....Winnie
