Haunting Moved The Figure In The Night Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Haunting Moved The Figure In The Night

Haunting moved the figure in the night
Trembled with fear the oak, the chill
Gripped the tall fir,
Trembled the ground of the garden
And the moon by small steps danced
As many a night star
In to that haunted night
The haunting figure moving in that sight.
