Hatred And Discrmination Poem by Daya Nandan

Hatred And Discrmination

It is morally wrong to breed hatred and discrimination,
For the seeds of evil lead to the downfall of a nation,
It all starts with poisoned thoughts behind good acting,
Slowly spreading hatred, evil ideas start attracting,

At one point some will act upon the hatred that has grown,
Bringing death and chaos upon world to be shown,
Most acts such as terrorism and racism are a direct result,
Of the unification of twisted minds that planned an assault,

So many unlawful acts like mass murders and kidnapping,
Yet cold closet discriminators are smiling and clapping,
They breed more hatred in the shadows to untarnished minds,
Creating a clear pathway of hatred that evil soon finds,

Be it religion, race, economic status or sexual orientation,
Discrimination to others brings humanity's own degeneration,
We live in the 21st century, we should be much better today,
We must nourish our morals and humanity to keep evil at bay!
