Hatred Poem by Stacy S...

Hatred

Rating: 5.0

Such a word can cause so much pain
Can become like our own name
If it's allowed it will swallow our life
And cause us such strife

Such a word can overtake a room
In the silence be a sudden boom
If we let it we will greatly suffer
Cuz with hatred there is no buffer

We all have some kind of hatred
Waiting somewhere deep inside us
Each passing day causes it to grow
And if it's not released we all will blow

Good poem about a tough subject. But I refuse to water hatred, choking it out before it grows. No fuel, no fire. You are right about the pain part. Keep writing.
