Hate And Death Poem by Katherine Tylor McCall

Hate And Death

Thou shalt not hate,
For Hate is Death,
And Death is a horrid thing.
So Hate and Death are partners-
In an ugly vicouse ring.

They dance and snarl,
And knash their teeth,
And wave their snake-like tongues,
To tease and hurt and bite you,
And such air from your lungs.

They giggle and spit,
And jump and skip,
'Cause they are nasty brothers;
Death causing hate-
Hate causing death
They must love one another.
