In this autumn,
hues of yellow,
stalks of grain,
once stood tall,
holding every wind,
now in submission in humility,
stacked like sacrificial altars,
fate known but hope held,
that some seeds from this harvest,
will make it again,
to the next harvest.
Life goes on!
