Harsh Reality... Poem by chantelle ribeiro

Harsh Reality...

The whole room disappeared
I was left
small and insignificant
staring at the floor of my soul
I couldn't breathe
for in that fraction of a moment
I felt you depart from me
The coldness enveloped my bones
Leaving me stiff and frozen
feeling lost
A wanderer in the desert
of harsh reality

Outstanding lineA wanderer in the desert of harsh reality And I myself has been a wanderer in the desert of harsh reality and what she did to me was painful! Actually it happened some three months ago.But now and having read this soaring masterpiece I feel comforted.Thank you very much your beautiful poem has helped lift the burden of gloom of my shoulders!
