Hardly Meat Poem by John W. McEwers

Hardly Meat

Rating: 5.0

Its hardly meat
but I eat the nuggets
they give me at school
and i dont say no

its hardly meat
but she is there so
i am ok with eating
what i shouldnt

its hardly meat
but its filling if you try
to think of happy faces
and luaus on hawaii

and its hardly meat
but the chicken aint what bothers
me

its the milk
our baby drinks
when you smoke
