Happy Valley Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Happy Valley

Rating: 5.0

I was dreaming in happy valley
People called it foolish move and silly
Yes I opted for it and now sink with desire
I praise his presence and all the time admire

He touched me only once
I felt it as divine touch with chance
It had come all the way to me by surprise
'I shall stand by it' he whispered in ears with promise

I am no more on this earth
It has spelled magic with new birth
I was never before in such stage
He had put some letters on page

I want to forget
But things are not allowing me to let
Mind is restless and devil's house
I bear ill will and grouse

What has it done to me?
Why was I in cage but not free?
Does love hold me as ransom?
Is it unwanted and troublesome?

I can forget nothing
As it is precious, means a lot and something
I am deep down with sweet moments
That compels nature to flow with my movements

I did not care so far for nature
It was meant nothing to me for sure
Whether it rained heavily or had dry spell
I was feeling well and casual

Now all of sudden I find change
Has that come with beauty and age?
I find some changes in body
Too much irresistible for somebody

I find now cuckoo so sweet in morning
And those dews on grass really burning
My desires into for a strong union
He is such a magnet for me as companion

I loose ground easily
Let him come and catch me readily
I shall offer no resistance
But submit to the insistence
