Happy Pongal Poem by Vijay Sai R

Happy Pongal

May the sweetness of pongal
And the richness of sugarcane
Bring you cheers in this day
And many more days to come
Wishing you
A Very happy and prosperous pongal-
A celebrated South Indian festival
A tribute to every farmer
Without them
A plate of meal?
A question to be answered…

Happy pongal . be a good day my dear poet! We in odisha observed it as Makar sankranti. a kind of Friendship day. It is the turning point of the sun. etc. thanks.

Happy Pongal... and it is right that without a farmer.. neither I nor anyone... can have their plate of mean! Even they don't care about themselves.. it doesn't matter if the weather is cold or hot... farmer keeps on doing his work... in burning summers when all of us are sitting in front of the ACs... at that time also the farmer is working... and in freezing winters.. when all of us are sitting in front of heaters and all... the farmer keeps on doing his work... thank you to the hard working farmers! ! ! a salute to him..! :) I liked the poem very much!
