Happy Engagement Tara And Ezra Poem by David Harris

Happy Engagement Tara And Ezra

Rating: 5.0

To two good friends
May happiness be with you always.

Love has sometimes a strange way
of bonding people together.
It has to sometimes show them
what they would be like
without one another.
My friends know only too well this is true
and the heartaches it brings.

Then getting back together,
they find love stronger than before.
Love cements this bond
with an engagement,
a commitment to one another
to journey on into future happiness.

In a world filled with troubles and strife
no road into the future
is only filled with happiness.
Sometimes that road maybe rocky
and other times heaven sent.

No matter what the road may be like,
you can ride out any storm,
so long as you remember,
every storm can bring love closer
than it was before.
You will find more happiness
than you realised you had.
The deeper love grows the longer it will last.

Therefore my two friends
I dedicate this poem to you.
May your lives be filled
with the happiness you both so richly deserve.
Happy Engagement to you both
and a long and prosperous life together.
It comes with love,
from David and Vera

Me again... I just copied and pasted this to send to ez at work and as I read it I realised again it is SO, SO accurate... I'm actually quite tearful. And that takes a lot. Thank you D. t x

D... apart from being deeply touching and making my heart swell, this is absolutely spot on in terms of emotional insight. I love it. Thank you. t xxx
