Happy Days Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Happy Days

Forty words:

Excitement of youth lingers, from
'Danube Waltz' days long ago.
Floral dresses of summertime,
plaited locks with a sheen...
those beautiful damsels of sweet
sixteen, unashamed and innocent,
turned every eye. Memories of
this will be mine till I die.
