Happiness/Heaven Poem by Rayno Elroy Davids

Happiness/Heaven

I,
walked out of heaven insearch of happiness-
propelled mercy, by forsaking forgiveness.
Caught up in thought,
I always seem to reminesce,
coz my soul has been corrupted,
as I forgot about providence.
Hatred has penetrated my heart injecting black tar into my essence infront of God,
now,
through acceptance and innerstanding I embrace that state and portray't as art-
calming that animalistic spirit by becoming one with't,
but
before I reached this point used to drown't,
I was an alcoholic.
I acted the fool even seemed retarded down and out felt worthless,
but seasons changed.
Winter turns to spring-
and realised happiness is the product of your way of life,
and laughter is the best medicine, thats both a message and advice!
Like everything else-
love finds those that aint insearch of it;
when you find it or it finds you,
remember one thing,
that the greatest lesson you'll ever learn is to love and be loved in return-
and this' how i returned back to the beginning and realised that happiness is heaven.
