Happiness Poem by Holly Moon

Happiness

Rating: 5.0

I was once sitting in a bus
At a terminus if you please
Out of the blue this feeling
I never had before
And for no reason at all
Absolute happiness
No thought, no reason at all
So now I have to say
Happiness must be a chemical fluke
In the brain that day
Because there was no reason
And I was so happy, unreasonably so.

This lasted for a few minutes
I was floating on air
Alas that feeling so rare
Never was again.

I remember it so well
I captured it like on film
But alas I have no control to play it again.

Perhaps happiness is in the air but we are conditioned to inhale smog most of the time and we miss it? ? ? Chemical or placebo or real, I'll take it in any form
