Happiness Poem by Cannita Melius

Happiness

But for now I’ll pretend to be happy
Though it feels worse than just being sad
But this I’ll endure
So I can deceive
Those onlookers who try to keep me down
Happiness is only for a moment
But does it really change any thing
No one can sympathise with me
So why so any emotion
They don’t care
So am gonna be here
Waiting for a better day to come
Or at least a day when you begin to understand where I’m coming from
That day may never come
But nonetheless I’ll be here waiting
Keeping my hopes up
For a true bit of happiness
