Happiness..?
I wish I’d seen
The absence of life
If only I could turn on the light
Darkness consuming all
A giant heart sinking into the abyss
I decided long ago
To lock myself away
To protect her from me
I love her therefore I die
She lives
I utter the words 'Let go'
The heart stops sinking
A hand breaks through the darkness, it grabs mine
I see her face
A smile forms on my own
My life is reborn
I live on..
