Happily Ever After Poem by Dermot McGarthy

Happily Ever After

Rating: 5.0

There's one born every minute,
One dies every hour,
One breathes every second,
To the chime of the clock tower,
Or the Angelus bell,
The call to prayer,
Or Tefilah's spell,
Nourished by hope,
To guide our way,
To challenge our reason,
Turning day into recycled day,
Where now becomes forever, and,
Everyone holds on tight,
To the only freedom that we know,
Basking briefly,
In eternal light.

Love the rhythm, your words that dance with a zest for life and eagerness for every second well spent, every minute cherished and every day a challenge to succeed. You shine the light on everyday life with truth, magic and even the darkness of life becomes bright under the poet's spotlight! Superb write!
