"Hang Up" Poem by James K. Dyson

"Hang Up"

Rating: 3.1

Behavioral patterns

stricken me maddened

worn out, burn out,

flattered combatant.

Obsessed, no, but,

putting to attest.

Neglected like all the rest.

They all think they are the best.

Hang up, I've been set up,

First, I caught you with a wink,

Last, you were gone before I blinked,

never did I know

only felt your performance

watched your show,

to an extent it was severe

when you bit off my ear,

Now it is clear that I can't hear.

Look for me below.
