Hamartia Poem by James Crieta

Hamartia

Rating: 4.5

Inclined.
When thoughts were wedding bells
When thoughts were fantastic realities
But lost in mystic wishing wells
But lost in vain impossibilities
Declined.

Talked.
The sweetest words were in my mouth
The lips I wait to, by you, be kissed
But its tune to them seemed uncouth
But it's gone, in the wind, damned missed
Walked.

Crossed.
Such playful wind does to your scent
Such mirthful me, then I become
But so as fast, it's quickly spent
But so as fast, it's quickly gone
Lost.
